Untranslatable Joke

For the 3 people on here who understand Russian, I want to share this wonderful joke:

Everything about it is priceless and absolutely untranslatable.

This is why I’ll never be successful on Twitter. I can’t come up with anything pithy and funny on the spot. N can. He’s amazing at this kind of thing but he doesn’t share his gift with the world.

I apologize to the people who don’t understand the language.

    1. It’s truly untranslatable. It’s a play on words that brings together dildos and Russian wartime propaganda in an elegant and hilarious ways.

The Russian slogan “our grandfathers fought” (meaning they fought in WWII so today’s Russians should fight a war, too) is pronounced in a way that makes part of it sound like the word “dildo.”

The original poster is offering free dildos, and the commenter asks if the dildos are new or battle-tested like the grandpas in the slogan.

Jokes sound so stupid when one explains them.
