I found myself at Walmart at 10 pm last Saturday. It was filled with pijama-clad teenagers. They were walking around, playing ball, eating, sitting on the floor. It was like a very large sleepover party. Is Walmart a regular hangout for teenagers or is this a local thing?

Usually more of a college thing at that hour. Earlier in the evening it’d be malls.
The PJs in public for more than just a late-night emergency-run are a new thing, this generation, though. Not sure where it came from.

At least, in my area students don’t wear PJs to class. At Purdue it was rampant and very embarrassing to watch. Also, quite smelly.
