  1. I know nothing about Minnesota politics, but I know several people who live in Minnesota or who used to live there and really want to move back. I don’t think any state in the midwest gets as much love from its residents as Minnesota.

    For what it’s worth, I was extremely surprised by the George Floyd stuff and how everything exploded there afterwards in 2020. I’ve been to Minneapolis/St. Paul a couple of times over the years, and it always struck me as a very clean, low crime, well-run sort of place.
