It is not surprising because the tests were extremely hard and deeply racist-sexist. No wonder black and female candidates did so poorly.

I understand the need for the maths, but what does knowing the difference between its and it’s have to do with writing police reports? Were illiterate officers of the olden days in the south bad at their jobs just because they couldn’t spell?

I wonder what the passing score was set at. Probably something low like 60%.
Also, the DOJ is suing the wrong people. They should be suing the school districts that allowed these applicants to graduate.

Yes, the women couldn’t remotely pass the same physical reqs as the men. Which should be shocking only to people who were born three minutes ago.

Yes, we are still somewhat dimorphic, and were thus obviously once at least a partly tournament species; with sexes differing in size, upper body strength, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, bone density, and of course the obvious delightful neoteny of female facial characteristics and hour glass body…but other than that, we are absolutely physically identical ;-D
