If Harris Loses

She’s unconvincing as a moderate after a lifetime of being far-left. So yes, her being very far-left until three seconds ago is damaging to her because voters don’t like progressivism. If they did, she’d be running a much more honest campaign instead of trying to pretend she’s somebody she clearly isn’t.

  1. I think it’s a good sign that they are already working through the ramifications of defeat in public. This is just one of several such headlines I’ve seen this week. One gets the feeling that the poll results they are seeing are much worse than the ones available to the public.

          1. This and a couple other liberal-propaganda-outlet headlines I’ve seen this week seem to indicate laying the groundwork for some kind of Dems-lose scenario, where they plan to try some kind of election-invalidation-through-legal-chicanery scheme.

Bit concerning, especially coming from sources that have no thoughts of their own, and just repeat what’s on the memo.

  2. She’s was a huge wokester, BLM supporter, pro illegal immigrants, until a few months ago. People are seeing through that.

Democrats made the same mistake they made with Hillary. Pushing and unlikeable hag nobody asked for nor likes. Any of Walz, Shapiro, Kelly, would have made much stronger candidates.

      People are seeing through that.

People are NOT seeing through that, THAT’s the problem.

People vote with their feelings, not with their brains. I wish I could be wrong, but come Election Day results and you’ll see what I mean. So sorry.

Yeah, how somone treats subordinates is a good measurement of their character. Her “deplorables” comments was bad, but when Hillary smiled about her intention of getting rid of the coal miners, she lost Appalachia and the election.

  3. Well, I am a neighbour, a Canuck from The Great White North, but I do watch your elections with interest. Now having observed our results from Open Switch, Saskatchewan and Sikkokamik*, Nunavut and Cul d’Orignal*, Quebec and all the way to Dildo, Newfoundland can be counted, summed, and the winners announced in a single evening, then how, in all that is Holy, can anybody in the USA announce that their result could take up to 10 days ;-D

    1. I just saw that 86% of Americans want photo ID to vote. The whole planet has photo ID to vote. Yet we still don’t have a photo ID to vote for reasons I haven’t been able to grasp in the 20 years of living here.

So yes, it’s one of those mysteries nobody can solve.

  4. we still don’t have a photo ID to vote

Even so-called Third World countries have photo ID and stringent measures in place to ensure that elections are free and fair. It’s the basis of any genuinely democratic country.

That the cradle of modern democracy should NOT have such basic means of guaranteeing reliable election results is simply beyond belief: this is batshit bonkers crazy.

  5. “She’s unconvincing as a moderate”

Everybody else probably already knows this but I only today came across the theory that her public performances are so terrible because she’s micro-dosing something, I saw Xanax mentioned as a possibility since that has the inhibition lowering qualities of alcohol…

Then I found out others are convinced she’s on C or just plain soused….

It does explain the sheer weirdness of her public speaking.

Of course if no-pressure softball interviews or public appearances stress her so much that she has to resort to goofballs then…. not a pleasant thought to think of her as president and probably stoned out of her gourd….

Just hearsay….. but…. it does make sense.

    1. Pretty sure these days that every public figure in that income bracket is tweaking on something, most or all of the time. And that’s been true for a long time. It’s just… they usually stick to things that don’t make you quite so loopy, like amphetamines.
