Men in Women’s Jails

The NYTimes printed the information that a whopping 15% of prisoners in federal female jails are transgender. That, of course, is many, more than the percentage of trans people in the general population.

15% of biological men in federal women’s jails. That most of them have intact penises is a guarantee. How can this possibly be a good idea? How can anybody be opposed to putting an end to this?

Also, if the NYTimes recognizes the number of 15%, the likelihood is that the actual number is higher.

  1. Trump will ban trans women from women’s prisons by removing trans inmates from rape protections

… transgender inmates are 10 times more likely to report being sexually victimized than other prisoners, federal data shows

    Agree with this reaction:

In general, it would be logical to organize separate buildings or blocks for all “non-traditional” prisoners.

They probably shouldn’t be housed with women, but throwing them into men’s prisons with strict hierarchy in which they will obviously immediately end up at the bottom of the social pyramid is cruel.

Is it really impossible to organize a third, pragmatic option?
Especially since it does not require any special additional expenses.

    Politics again.
One camp uses minorities as a flag, the other as a doormat.
Nobody wants to think about organizing a sane norm…

    1. It’s been impossible to organize a separate block for trans inmates or separate toilets and locker rooms for trans people because the ACLU won’t let this happen. You get sued for attempting. The whole point of this paraphilia is for a man to inflict himself on women. The trans very aggressively don’t want a separate accommodation. It violates their “human rights.” It’s apartheid and all that.

These are well-meaning comments from utterly clueless people who have bought into the propaganda and are trying to refashion reality to suit it.
