President Trump gave Ukraine an actual (as opposed to Biden’s imaginary) permission to strike objects deep in Russia. Daily, heavy strikes are gladdening my heart. Not words but actual strikes.
None of this is being discussed in Western media because people here aren’t ready for reality. I’m very glad it’s not reported because what’s the point? People are attached to their fantasy that “Biden was for Ukraine.” Why hurt their feelings by revealing the complexity of life?

yeah I feel like the whole Ukraine business went silent a couple weeks ago, and the Israel/Hostage issue took center stage. Found that strange.

Things are going on, really massive things. Just a few days of Trump are making a big difference.
And he’s not disappointing me on deportations, which I feared. Good things are happening. Very exciting times.

I am so glad he is part of making things happen over there. And I am THRILLED with the arrests of illegal criminals and the steep drop in border crossings since last week. Hopefully people will start self deporting also.

Went from Montreal to VT and back today. Nobody is crossing the border (legally) either way. I realize that end of January is not the most popular travel time, but I have never seen the border so empty on a Saturday morning and evening. Two weeks ago the border was not very crowded, but not empty either.
And Canadian dollar being weak cuts both ways – the Americans might be more inclined to go to Canada.
Border guards are extremely polite and ask almost no questions. (Both ways.)
Not only police / state troopers but also Border Protection cars stand in the median of the I-89 in larger numbers than usual, but I did not see them actually stop anybody.

For example, people can’t process the reality that 15% of convicts in female federal jails are men. It’s so nuts that they think it must be some sort of a mistake. Or immigration. Once you try to cite real facts, people shut down because it’s impossible to process the insanity.

Of course the usual suspects are besides themselves with joy and those running the oscars are perplexed at low ratings….
