Waves of Ourrage

I had a very busy day, plus I had to take my car to the mechanic.

Finally, at 8:30 pm I go on social media to see what is happening in the world and discover that America is in the midst of yet another scandal about “racist comments.”

Did anything else of note happen because I can’t plow my way through the waves of all this outrage?

  1. Today’s headlines of note:

-USAID paid for Hamas’ concrete tunnel network.

-First 10 Tren de Aragua members shipped to Guantanamo

-unis that allow men in women’s sports will lose federal funding

-USAID apparently chipped in $27mil to Soros’ installation of public prosecutors who don’t prosecute crime. (meme with cartoon guy putting stick in own bicycle wheel goes here)

-We got the receipts on USAID funding BLM: https://x.com/Jringo1508/status/1887344874279653808

      1. I kid you not: very same day, got some “concerned liberal” commenter worried about how the dear illegals will be treated at Guantanamo. I mean, they didn’t commit any crime but crossing the border, right? Nobody deserves to be at Guantanamo for just trying to have a better life right?

I am not sure what universe they live in. It’s not this one. It’s like an alternate dimension where all border-hoppers are just regular innocent family people who want to get jobs, pay taxes, and raise families, and the US govt is actually shipping these people to Guantanamo.

I’m not sure they’ve ever heard of Tren de Aragua.

It’s like talking to someone of normal intelligence, who’s been living in a jungle hideout, or an institution, or a cult compound, for the last twenty years. How do you even approach what’s missing?

        1. Dear Methylethyl, thank you for the update and very useful summary.

When you say “It’s like talking to someone of normal intelligence, who’s been living in a jungle hideout, or an institution, or a cult compound” I think it’s actually worse. These are people who have been living in our midst all the time but who lead very insulated and sheltered lives: their jobs, money, children’s schools, apartments, holidays, cultural and leisure activities are very different from what you and I experience. We may be living in the same city even, but it’s as if they were on another planet.

        2. I have family members sharing this kind of outrage porn and I don’t know what to say. It’s like the covid propaganda all over again.

Is everything happening through this process good? I don’t know yet and neither do they. What I do know is that every incident, proposal, etc. that they are responding to with shock and anger are overfed chickens coming home to roost.
