In the meantime, Democrats are reacting to Bernie Sanders gathering huge crowds:

Its very hard to blame Yarvin to giving up on democracy. The very very lowest common denominator rules the day, and people with a functioning brain are caught in the dysfunction created by undisciplined, emotive, wounded, and resentful idiots.
Adding a third flavor of stupid. This rally had a performance of the children’s classic song “Does your God have a big fat dick?” by transgender singer Laura Jane Grace. The democratic party is really serious, guys.

The worst part is that the singer is very untalented, sings off-key, and can barely play. The performance is amateurish and embarrassing yet nobody laughs because IDENTITY.
These people can’t be helped.

To be fair, this singer was popular in the punk scene before going trans. Some people just have bad taste.

An argument in favor of democracy: weirdos who tweet stuff like that are heavily outnumbered by people who would never have the thought cross their mind, even within the Democratic party
Argument against: the crowd video posted by Stringer Bell

I know that you must be right but I’m surrounded by people who are all like the dude in the tweet. I can be sitting in somebody’s kitchen, gossipping and having coffee and then a person just comes out with something like this, and I lose hope.

It’s hard to keep a cheery disposition in academia. But we’ve seen what “rule by the experts” looks like and it looks like giving people like this nutbag way too much power. Meanwhile, the actual masses are turning against this sort of thing more strongly every day.
Of course, normal people can also be quite stupid (see: any discussion of foreign policy), but I’ll take the lesser evil. As the saying goes, the only thing worse than democracy is every other system of government.

Making everything a race issue is a handy way to avoid the real problems of society.
