Sheltered

People don’t remotely understand civilizational differences. They are extremely sheltered and unaware of how easy it is to crumple and throw away the civilizational achievements that make this shelterdness possible.

  1. Among many other things, land stewardship is not a universal concept. I don’t know if libs don’t know this, or they do know this and don’t care.

    1. There’s a reason why Hispanic migrants are responsible for such a crazy proportion of driving accidents. People who have been to Latin America know the reason.

Another issue is littering. People outside of the US and Western Europe litter like maniacs.

      1. Exactly. There is no sense of a shared public good. They will clean and take care of their homes but everything outside belongs to someone else and is not one’s responsibility. Everything outside is a resource, waiting to be extracted.

They weakened a fucking steel bridge by spitting tobacco on it for decades.

After 36 years, Howrah Bridge is undergoing a comprehensive health check-up. Strains from a banned substance in West Bengal have caused significant erosion to the bridge’s structure, but the state government has still not strictly implemented the ban.

      2. Yeah, all the nice things I say about latin america and SE asia…

The littering, the dog poop everywhere (because picking up after your dog is a totally foreign concept in PE), the child beggars, the total acceptance of bribery as simply the way things are done… these are not things I want to see imported to the US.

    2. These are the same people who are letting vagrants import literal tons of trash into state-owned forests in OR because compassion or something. I don’t think they actually care about conservation.
