Fuckup or not, it has once again saved Zelensky’s career from a huge corruption scandal. Just as the scandal was heating up… this “28-point plan” was leaked, and nobody cares about the corruption scandal any more.
I’m not saying anybody did this on purpose. I’m saying exactly what I did this morning about the Trump-Mamdani meeting.

There’s a guy called Timur Mindich. A double citizen of Ukraine and Israel. He’s been stealing money from the army procurement funds. An absolute rat bastard. He ran away from the country immediately before the anti-corruption services came to arrest him.
As you can imagine, this is a devastating blow to people who are dying to defend their country. And this lowlife bitch is stealing money from the front. It’s painful even to write about it.

He’s fumbling, trying to deliver some kind of a win while the economy isn’t getting better, the deportations have stalled, and the voters are getting increasingly upset. Panic isn’t a good inspiration for action, and this is sheer panic.

Makes sense somewhat. I think in his twisted “business” logic it makes more sense to give in to Russia than to fight on until Russia is weakened more because that takes smarts, patience, and long term planning and commitment. None of which Trump has.
In hindsight maybe we should have expected this. Donald Trump would have lost the cold war.
Can’t believe it’s not even been one year with Trump in the presidency. I’m ready for something new already.

And it’s all happening just at the exact moment when an Israeli citizen oligarch features in the largest corruption scandal in Ukraine. I don’t want to be a conspiracy theorist but the number of these coincidences is getting off the chart.

Well… he has kicked the EU’s collective butt a bit and they’re submitting an alternate plan that’s maybe not great (it is the EU, after alll) but not nearly as terrible as Trump’s russian authored abortion….
