In Lieu of Prayer

Have you noticed how they always repeat the same sentence many times? It’s their form of prayer.

  1. What you contemplate you imitate.

Anybody designing an affirmation or a mantra will tell you: this sucks because “the universe” doesn’t hear negatives. A well-designed affirmation expresses a positive intention: “drive sober” not “don’t drive drunk”.

So in terms of repeated mantra/affirmation… this one is affirming racism. It is very important to these people to reinforce racism as much as possible.

What enters the mind here, once you remove all the stuff “the universe” (i.e. the subconscious) can’t grasp is:

    racism racism racism racism racism

And it’s not like there haven’t been decades of marketing/psych research on this one. They absolutely know what they are doing.

  2. It’s easy to laugh at europeans but this is 100% an American import. And the whole world suffers. They had BLM protests in India!

Also, can we stop pretending that europe has not been enslaved by american since WWII? They’ve never been in charge!

The first guest workers were recruited from European nations. However, Turkey pressured West Germany to admit its citizens as guest workers.[5] Theodor Blank, Secretary of State for Employment, opposed such agreements. He held the opinion that the cultural gap between Germany and Turkey would be too large and also held the opinion that Germany didn’t need any more labourers because there were enough unemployed people living in the poorer regions of Germany who could fill these vacancies. The United States, however, put some political pressure on Germany, wanting to stabilize and create goodwill from a potential ally. West Germany and Turkey reached an agreement in 1961.[21]

  3. Here’s the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States making the case that Denmark is bad because it mistreated indigenous people. It’s a lie, but that’s beside the point. A so-called right wing american government invoking indigenous rights bullshit to attack a fellow western nation is fucking shameless.

Once again, americans have no right to laugh at the euros. We exported this poisonous ideology to them.

          1. Why does this responsibility fall upon me? Why doesn’t the GOP worry about its electoral prospects and align their policies and actions accordingly? A captive voter has zero power. Acting as a spoiler is the only leverage we have.

            1. Because politicians will be fine in any regime. We aren’t going to be fine. So inflicting the absolute worst on ourselves will not punish the GOP politicians. It will punish us.

No, it is all too true, historically Danish authorities did routinely deliberately sterilize female native Greeenlanders. Unfortunately, for the Secretary, so did the USA and Canada. In my country, these early eugenic policy was led by the racist, upper caste suffagists known as “Famous Five” ;-D

        1. Kid, I agree. To be blunt, frankly, if we must acknowledge any identity’s effort in creating nations, we should really just identify the Scots-Irish in the States and les écossais sauvage in Canada — and Celts understand that whisky was given to us to keep us from running the world…so we are humble too, eh ;-D
