Nine year olds.
Poor Henry, the dad is incarcerated and the mom abandoned the kids. They are raised by two old, infirm but extremely wonderful grandparents.

That is not the demographic I would’ve expected to send their kids to a private school. Something’s not right here lol.

These are Lutherans. They give generous assistance to the needy. And the grandparents are very nice.
