Undermining family is class warfare. Divorce is wealth transfer. Protracted singledom is wealth transfer. The freedom to keep swiping for fresh partners is freedom to be poor. Wealth begins when you stop swiping.

Would bet that runs both ways: those less inclined to marry… also less inclined to stay sober, hold down a regular job, exercise prudence in spending, etc. “Families” here implies people with kids. So, not just *regular* flunkies, but the special subset of flunkies who also produce children out of wedlock. Add in a high rate of substance abuse, and thus a high rate of kids with extra-special problems that will probably never be properly diagnosed because nobody’s admitting to drinking/drugs while pregnant… the problem isn’t strictly disincentivizing marriage. It’s a whole fun bundle of expensive dysfunction.
Single childless misanthropes still kind of doing OK. Financially, anyway.
It’s not an accident that lower marriage rates correlate with higher poverty rates. And there is *some* causation there. But there are a lot of force-multipliers in play as well.

I understand the negative connotations of the terminology but this is, in fact, wealth transfer. People who buy into the ideology of unlimited choice in their personal lives get fleeced. Which is the whole point. This is done on purpose, and there’s a whole class that gets rich off the suffering this system of human relationships causes.

Hmmm, not certain there ever was a grand conspiracy. Early communism and feminism largely consisted of envious pampered upper middle class utopians. We have not yet begun to understand the impacts of suffrage, effective contraception, and no-fault divorce, let alone AA/DEI. And the sexes no longer even seem to even like each other much .
