Can anybody suggest any interesting conversation topics? I’ve uncharacteristically got nothing because all my energy goes to not going off on people who are eating my brain out with a little teaspoon.

Why don’t you post on the genre fiction you read for fun? IIRC, you like mysteries? Your favorites, least favorites, genres and subgenre you’d never read, genres and subgenres you didn’t think you’d enjoy but do, favorite authors and why you think you like their work, genre work of surprisingly high literary quality, etc. Basically, a little celebration of reading for pleasure in blog-post form.

Reading about Bauman and other thinkers was the most beloved topic of your blog, but it had sadly disappeared.
And would love to read new materials you discover while working on the new political course.

Not disappeared but imo became less prominent compared to the past.
Love reading about books you read for fun too, but not mystery novels since don’t read this genre. General good novels, would love to hear about.
