The Saddest Loser

At this point, it’s clear that the British government is simply trying to see if the population has any boundary at all or is it completely browbeaten.

Great Britain is the clearest, most tragic loser in World War 2. On Germany the jury is still out but the Brits were defeated into oblivion. First, they lost their role on the would stage. Then they lost their self-respect. Soon they’ll lose the country.

    1. …I am still processing the sheer, towering, magnificent ludicrousness of that. It takes one’s breath away.

I mean, we all knew the SPLC was a giant scam. But the KKK is also a huge scam, and they’re in it together. That is too, too farcical.

I may have to see the madcap musical when it comes out. What will they call it? Burning Churches for Fun and Profit? White Hoods For Rent?

        1. For real. The KKK has been 80% feds and 20% fat henpecked insurance and carpet salesmen since forever. We all thought the only think keeping it afloat was the ATF infiltrators paying dues. Apparently it was the SPLC all along…

            1. The speculation flying out there right now is gut-bustingly hilarious.

              Like oh, man, what if?

(this thread is a not-implausible suggestion that Richard Spencer may have been taking some of this sponsorship)

It’ll be one for the history books, if the SPLC ends up taking out the KKK and several associated racist organizations, along with itself, by funding them.

              I am weeping.

              1. Leftists created this garbage and then tried to tie it around our necks. Unbelievable fall. It’s really great this is coming out into the open.

            2. The WaPo has a small headline far down the homepage that says “DOJ charges SPLC over paid informants.” So, no one who sees only mainstream will have any idea what that means.

              1. Ah, “informants.” I wonder who the informant that charges $250,000 for his information is. Jeff Bezos? Because one would think that a regular KKK informant would come at a somewhat lower price.

                These people have no shame.

              2. $3million to “informants” including a grand wizard.

                Sure, Jan.

And that’s just what the DOJ thinks it can prove. Which means it was probably a lot more than that.

              1. I see that the line about the informants was chosen as the shared talking point. Of course, of you drop a quarter mil on an informant, he has every reason to manufacture whatever you need but that aspect of the story is neatly avoided.

            3. The NYT headline this morning was comedy gold. They couldn’t even mention the SPLC by name! I screenshotted it because I’m sure it’ll be memory-holed soon it’s so embarrassing.

The subhead then deflects to “republican accusations” rather than say *anything at all* about the actual DOJ charges.

  1. Camp of the Saints at #10 on Amazon now. We know the NYT will manipulate things to avoid it being on their bestsellers list no matter what the sales numbers are, but if this keeps up it has a serious shot at the Publisher’s Weekly Bestseller list.

Not getting as much attention since Amazon never tried to suppress it, but the #3 book on their site is a romance novel by a former Fox News host about a liberal woman falling in love with a small town Republican man. Nothing groundbreaking, but it’s a sign of cultural healing to see it doing so well. In 2016 or 2020 this slot would’ve been occupied by a book about a woman divorcing her husband after finding out he once laughed at a joke Donald Trump made. And this author would’ve been unable to find a publishing deal because she dared to be Republican.

Publishers have perhaps begun to listen to the many readers who aren’t rabid leftists and are tired of having wokeness jammed down their throat while reading what should be light hearted genre novels.
