The Baroque is actually a dominant style of architecture in Latin America in the colonial period. What’s great about these student answers is that they are “right” in a kind of messed up, “wrong” way. Otherwise they wouldn’t be funny.

Yes, exactly. My lecture was precisely about the Baroque architecture and I did share how overwhelmed I was with this art when I visited as a tourist. It’s funny how students always hear whatever they need to hear.
