  1. It’s always been about the wording. That’s why the current law is the Affordable Care Act to proponents, and Obamacare to opponents (and a lot of people still don’t understand that these terms refer to the same thing, sadly). “Socialism” carries a lot of negative historical baggage to Americans, which is why Sanders cannot win a national election. Medicare refers to something familiar, comfortable, and that most consumers support. Most Americans don’t understand single-payer,

      Exactly. Which is why the Dems who are shouting “Bernie or Bust” have me so distressed. It’s fine to not like Clinton but people have got to see a) that’s she’s more electable than Sanders and b) that she’s infinitely better than Trump, Cruz, or Rubio.
