Can you determine where a Spanish-speaking person is from based on their accent?
I didn’t recognize people from Panama, Paraguay and Costa Rica. This is not surprising given that I never met anybody from these countries.
I’ve got to say, though, that in many cases I knew where people in the test were from based on their vocabulary and not pronunciation.

Yes, absolutely; I was very influenced by the vocabulary. Also, once I caught on to the fact that each country is only featured once, I got more right.
15/20 (missed Cuba, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Peru)

That’s a great test thank you! At first, I thought I was going nuts but then it turned out there were non-existent words included on purpose. A great idea!
