I wasn’t thiking of Trump, Clinton spent too many years in the south around too many white people (80-90% of which use the word in some context or other) to not have ever used it herself.
And from the outside it looks like this whole semi-final part of the election year is becoming a chance for people to let their ids roam free in the public space (on behalf of and against both candidates).
