Medical Halloween

I’m at the emergency room. At the pediatrician’s , we had discovered that Klara is fine, thank God, but I’m at death’s door because of disregarding my blood pressure for months. Eight months and two weeks, to be exact.

The trouble I’m having at the emergency room is figuring out who’s medical personnel and who is wearing costume. I had no idea doctors are that into Halloween.

      1. Oh please don’t say it’s your fault. You are so young for a stroke. My thoughts are with you. This is so scary. But your language skills are still clearly working. So that’s a good thing.

      1. Didn’t mean to hit thumbs up there. Try deep breathing as you wait. It’s amazing what continuous deep breaths can do for blood pressure. (I have a tendency towards high blood pressure myself.) For more long term, I highly recommend yoga and/or meditation.
