I may be an outlier but I have always found these “men who like women” to be very off-putting. The only woman whose company I need my husband to prefer is me. I definitely don’t need him to engage in performative gestures of how “women are more interesting than men.”
I love the company of women. Alas my wife like you does not particularly feel comfortable with a lot of women. She permits Yeshiva students of both sexes on shabbat. And that’s a good compromise. Women far more mature than guys. Their tits and ass also quite pleasant. Women, generally speaking, simply straight up beautiful eye-candy. The song of the 56 single by the Four Lads appeals to me: “Standing on the corner watching all the girls go by”.

The 1956 Play Guys & Dolls. This mentality of men & women appeals to me. You’re only a couple of years younger than me. I was born 3 years after Guys & Dolls Broad-Way play. Songs like “Luck be a Lady tonight”; or the chorus line of “Take back your Mink” etc. Normal men love beautiful women, just that simple. Yes to quote from my wife: “we suffer from testosternone poisoning”.

I was somewhat suspicious of what the original comment was saying from the very beginning. But what really clinched it for me to the point where I am now calling BS on his entire post was this part right here.

I too have seen the data, and the data is showing that over 1 in 3 men are in this category, speaking specifically about the US – Millennials and younger. I am also seeing reports that this is being reflected in China, Japan, S. Korea, and most other countries. A “small percentage” this is not, a major problem this is.
I highly suspect this post was either rage bait, an elderly fellow very out of touch with reality, or possibly an AI post.

Well, I am “an elderly fellow” in my mid 70’s, and I largely agree. But the problem is not a single generation, but rather an ever growing, repeated series of children not being raised in complete nuclear families, let alone extended families. We all know the negative data on children raised by single mothers, why are we then surprised that the children have no idea how to properly court the other?!?!

That’s fair, and the kids not being raised in complete nuclear families or with extended families has definitely contributed to this issue.
To add on to this, I think the issue we are seeing is probably stemming from a number of roots, rather than just a single one. Social influences, the economy, housing issues, just to name a few.
Frankly the courting thing has long sense flown the coop. The whole point of courting was to find out if the girl you were courting was worth marrying in the first place. Dating which replaced courting, has effectively degraded down to finding a girl to sleep with for years before maybe marrying her or maybe not. The whole thing is basically a powder keg of drama and mental damage waiting to explode.
I suspect I’ll be considered quite old fashioned, but my point of view has always been that you should have an idea if your going to marry the girl in 6 months to 2 years. If you haven’t figured it out by that point you probably don’t need to be together.

Agreed there are many additional factors, but I believe that divorces do tend to run in generations. And while supposedly Single Fathers do better than Single Mothers at avoiding the negative results, I have never seen good data. As most must court the other to some extent, it only stands to reason that both boys and girls benefit from observing years of male/female interaction within their own homes.
Further, noting the sudden appearances of downvotes lacking commentary, I suspect that I am over the target ;-D

The whole post is far-fetched and preposterous, including the blatantly nonsensical contradiction in his argument “When I see data on the small percentage of men in their 20s who haven’t had relationships“: it should read “who HAVE HAD relationships”, since the topic is men complaining about being unable to attract women).
It’s just AI, but someone must have given it a prompt to expatiate on the fact that men have only themselves to blame and that if only they liked women… blah blah blah. Stupid, vapid and puerile: just like the bosh spouted day in and day out by the cretinous liberal women of The View, led by Cretin-in-Chiefess Joy Behar, a disgrace to the whole Jewish people בארץ ישראל ובתפוצות.
