A Biden appointee is likely to be a liberal. It’s not like he’d be appointing MAGA candidates. But yes, I’m sure that the mother is not as far left as the little dude.

I would assume everyone who works for the CIA is some flavor of conservative. Left-leaning people old enough to have adult children are usually super anti-CIA.

And CIA / FBI have been lefty for decades. What you mention are alignments from 20 years ago. “Works for the government” now means “aggressively BLM”.

Ohhh… that is… I don’t think I have a word to respond to that.
I suppose I really only know one person who works for the federal government. He’s definitely not aggressively BLM, but his job is directly related to medical research and is very focused on a cluster of diseases.
