Ten years ago today, I gave birth to Klara. She loves her cat, books, drawing and going to Olive Garden. She brings so much joy it’s impossible to express in words.

Having little kids is hard, but overall having kids is amazing. I enjoy them so much once they’re past the preschool stage and big kids are the absolute best. They smart and funny, with rich inner worlds, cool interests and original thoughts. Nothing better than shooting the breeze and joking around with my big kids. It an amazing privilege to get to know them as they grow into themselves.

Having children was the best thing I ever did. I say this over and over, now that my 3 children are adults and the eldest is married with 2 children. I thank God daily for the blessings of children and grandchildren. And I fully support your recommendation that people — especially readers of your blog — have as many children as they can, without delay!
