Good Shape

I honestly don’t understand what is the problem with one old person telling another old person “You are in such good shape.” I’m already at the age when people share their blood sugar and blood pressure readings the second they meet because that’s all they care about any longer. In 30 years, that will be all I’ll want to talk about.

I need to get out more. I thought people shared their fitbit readings and workout stats, if they share such things. My brother will post his cardio stats. That’s how I know he runs 6 miles/ hr.

“I ran a half marathon! I did the ice bucket challenge! I lost 40 lb! I grew my hair to donate it to make wigs for children!”-my peers.

None of my peers are going on about their bp and blood sugar readings.

      1. You don’t listen to FM radio even in passing. 🙂 Are you referring to the one with or without Justin Bieber?

  2. I sort of agree, but it’s all in the tone and body language. A creep can make a simple ‘hello’ into something sleazy, while nice, well-socialized people can hug you and it seems like the most natural thing in the world.

I can’t be bothered to see the Trump video. This is more of a general comment.
