All I can say at the end of this long day is that it must suck beyond words to be a single mother.

It is, and with the expectations this society places, and lack of support, being a single parent is a very rough road. I have deep respect for those who can do it well.

Eh, depends on the circumstances and available support. I’m quite happy. I think an unhelpful partner would be far harder.

I think if a mother is really single, living alone with a child, it’s extremely hard. My mother lived with her parents, so it was much easier for her.LikeLike
