Still marriage decline of 11% though. I mean, net positive if divorces are declining faster, but… sigh.

One does kind of wonder if both of those things are not down to economic decline: divorce is expensive. Single people aren’t feeling financially secure enough to get married?

I hope the parallel decline in marriages and divorces means that more young people are being cautious and avoiding a bad first marriage.
