What I’m worried about, folks, is that 2018 and 2020 will be a replay of 2016. And when I see Democrats nominate people involved in ancient scandals or pronounce the word “chaos” (like in “the White House is so chaotic”) as if it were something bad, I fear that they have learned nothing. And I fear that they will come to the new elections with the same old candidates and the same antideluvian ideas of what works. This is not even about losing. What if they win, and it’s the same old crap as usual?

Running Blagojevich’s buddy for governor of Illinois, you’ve got to be kidding me. The first election in my entire life that I’ll be able to vote in, and this is who I got to vote for?

  1. Don’t worry , Eric Holder is planning on running for President in 2020. He’s the savior the Democrats have been looking for! 🙂

  2. One thing it’s important to remember is that not every state is Illinois, which is a state with uniquely terrible politics. Here in Ohio we have two great candidates running for governor (one of them is the frontrunner and likely nominee), and I’ve seen some promising candidates in other states as well. I think we’ll have a mixture of good and bad in 2018. 2020, I’m not sure.

      1. All you need to stop feeling jealous is to look at our 2014 governor’s race. What a disaster! And in spite of Democrats offering great choices for 2018, Ohio will probably elect Mike DeWine. Meanwhile our governor is Kasich, a charlatan who cares more about going on tv than helping Ohioans.
