A Russian professor of philosophy suggested that vacuum bombs should be detonated underwater near the Canary Islands to create a tsunami that will destroy Boston, Philadelphia, and New York.
Yes, I know where the Canary Islands are. This wasn’t my suggestion but that of the esteemed Russian professor.
But wait, there’s more. The professor works at an institution of higher learning called the University of Friendship Among Peoples. It’s a highly respected university that in Soviet times educated students from friendly regimes of Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Today in Russia, friendship among peoples translates into public fantasies of lethal tsunamis.
“Friendly” towards WHOM?

Originally, the USSR. These days, it’s friendly towards the diseased imaginings in Russians’ heads.
