Lockdowns get to everybody. N has enjoyed the lockdowns more than anyone on Earth (except for the people who made billions off them, of course). But lack of human contact got even to him. Today we went to a housewarming party, and he spoke to somebody! He said a bunch of complete sentences. And even asked a couple of questions. Incredible!

Can anybody explain why one in 10 tweets in my timeline is about the joys of eating insects? Why is there such an enormous propaganda campaign about this? Is the next “accidental” virus going to be explained as coming from a bug?

All of the lockdowns sceptics, anti-maskers and anti-COVID vaxxers I’m seeing are over 40. The generation that really suffered, was really robbed, and is now being medically experimented on for no reason is mum.

The biggest achievement of social media was producing a generation that has bovine patience and the compliance normally exhibited by inanimate objects.
